Absolutely delicious! For the premium price tag we would have expected slightly more from the service - the staff told us to order online and never bothered to check on us, bring us a water or sauce refills, etc. One of the items we ordered was out of stock and the payment was still taken (we are waiting for a refund to come through). The staff seemed quite overworked, and not very warm or friendly. Lovely decor and atmosphere of clientele is great. Well sized main dish portions. Would happily go back there.

Had the Jollof Rice with Chicken and my partner had the Jollof Rice with Beef. Both are super worth it and delicious at a medium spice level(already very spicy for us). I highly recommend them! The meats were juicy, the rice was delicious accompanied by the bananas. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was such a vibe. Highly recommend this spot!

Charming little restaurant serving Nigerian and West Aftican food at reasonable prices and also heavily catering towards vegans (but not exclusively). We were looking for a Nigerian restaurant and came across this and wow what a pleasant surprise it was. The food tasted so nice albeit a bit spicy of course because that jolloff rice is meant to kick a bit. Staff were super friendly and helped us in ordering. The ordering is done all through an app with a QR code which makes life easier. It’s a small, cosy restaurant on the North End Road, they have a nice terrace outside and some indoor seating too. We paid 55 for two and thought it was good value. They seem to be on Deliveroo and UberEats also. Looking forward to coming back and trying new food as their menu is huge!

Hidden gem offering a variety of dishes. The food was well presented and tasted great!! Great customer service and great cocktails too. Idris Elba was spot on.

Went tonight for the first time to show my vegan date what vegan Nigerian food is like and everything exceeded our expectations. The night was made even better with a gentleman called Ade who was a regular. He helped us through the menu and had such great energy! We ended eating with him and discussing Nigerian food and palm wine. He even got us some palm wine to try on the house. I will say it was a great evening and even though it was a little out of the way for us we were so happy we made the decision to go and it will not be our last time!

It was my wife's and my first stop on our trip to London for my birthday. We literally stumbled upon this place. After a little chit chat with the owner, we asked her what's good on the menu and her response was a confident 'everything' and she was not wrong! We ordered the Taste of Nigeria for one, Nigerian fried rice with Oxtail and the Grilled fish. Everything was superb. We can't wait to visit Pitanga again!

Was excellent for the beginning to the end and you can tell a lot of details/care went into the cooking. The Mixed suya was fantastic.. Really enjoyed it can't wait for my next visit. Good was Delicious

Absolutely amazing place! Came here with my family on a whim and we cannot stop talking about how good our experience was. The chef was warm and welcoming and helped us pick out some dishes (as this was our first time trying West African food). The other server was very kind and attentive and kept the food and drinks coming out quickly. Food was cooked fresh and everything was full of flavor. We got a few different dishes all of which were SO delicious! Lots of different options for dishes and types of meats- there’s something there for everyone. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone who likes great food and good people :)
